Community Baptist Church - Small Groups

CBC's Adult Small Groups meet every Sunday at 5pm to provide a means to edify and equip the saints through Bible-centered teaching as well as providing a vehicle for warm, Christian fellowship.

Workers in the Adult Small Groups consist of:

Shepherds
- Leader of the small group
- Leads opening assembly
- Oversees the other small group directors and holds them accountable
- Assists Outreach Director with visitation
- Assists the teachers
Outreach Director
- Takes attendance and collects visitor cards
- Assigns all absentee contacts and visits
- Participates in weekly visitation
Care Director
- Organizes care for those with special needs
- Keeps the pastor informed of upcoming surgeries and serious care needs
Missions Director
- Reads missionary prayer updates
- Informs class of special needs and prayer requests
- Coordinates monthly correspondence with missionaries
Activities Director
- Plans, promotes and oversees at least 2 class activities
- Plans creative ways to encourage fellowship
Teacher
- Prepares 8-week Bible study series
- Rotates through each small group
